| I had a 95 v6. First thing that happened was the thermostat went (and also found out that my temp guage physically stuck once it hit the normally operating temp mark), which of course caused some major issues and I had to replace quite a few parts. Next thing that went, the headgasket. A year later, another headgasket went (undetected), leaking coolant into my oil. It destroyed a good portion of the engine. My Z on the other hand I haven't had any major problems with. Even if the engine were to suddenly blow, I could completey replace it and still have put less money into it than I did when I purchased the mustang.
